The 2016 Wacom and Photoshop Graphics Workshop is a workshop where you will build on your existing graphic skills and move them into a ‘hand’ and digital realm using Wacom Tablets and Photoshop. It is important to remember the skills you have already learned, such as: line weight, line hierarchy, line types, color theory, depth, perspective, etc. However, this work shop will give you tips and tricks to translate your skills into the digital realm. This workshop will also give you the skills to move from digital hand graphics to photo-realistic composites or collages. Topics will include, brushes, layers, blending modes, swatches, and tablet configuration. You can download the workshop material below. Thanks to all the students and faculty who participated, it was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. Thanks also to Shawn Kelly for providing hand drawn site plan concepts for our hand graphics rendering portion of the workshop. The gallery above is a sampling of the student’s work.
