Resilient Pollination Design: Creating pollinator habitat typologies

Abstract

Pollinator populations are crashing world-wide. This decline, in part, is due to design choices in commercial and residential planting as well as regional land use policies. This presentation shares the findings from student data collection regarding regional habitat quality and the best practices for resilient pollinator habitat design, which are showcased through student work from a semester project on regional pollinator design. And finally, this presentation introduces a pollinator habitat evaluation instrument.
